Most people in Indonesia are annoyed right now. Plenty of sharp comments or even insults are addressed to Malaysian through various mailing list forum. Statement “ Malaysia has gotten too far by claiming Indonesian heritage”, or changing malaysian’s logo become Malingsia are just merely examples of how annoyed we are. “Ganyang Malaysia” is the word that we often hear about, but plenty of people don’t know the word “Ganyang Malaysia” was originated from bung karno statement when Malaysia declared their abstain for West Irian problem. Despite the tense between Indonesia and Malaysia , have we ever thought about this matter from the equal measure? For me the answer was no I haven’t, until I find out several of outstanding facts. Apparently, we share the common for several traditional songs and cultures with Malaysia (example : Rasa Sayange also known as Rasa Sayang eh in Malaysia and Several Indonesian traditional dances have few similarities with Malaysian). Why such thing could possibly happened? The answer is because Indonesian Great Kingdoms (Rukun Nusantara, such as : Majapahit, Sriwijaya etc) were spreaded their legacy through entire south east asia. So it became possible for another countries to know similar culture. But what about the other things that have been stolen by Malaysia , Things like burung kakatua’s song, angklung or batik? This is when they’ve gotten too far. Malaysian based on their primodialism assumption think that malaka’s or selangor’s dynasti is the best dynasti that produces the best race of melayu. So maybe they are facist as well.Indonesian people have overwhelming proves that whatever Malaysian claim as theirs, is actually ours...
